Welcome to the Lab. My name is Mary Lukas and I created The Sock Knitting Lab to share my love of sock knitting, including designs, helpful hints and lots and lots of sock knitting pictures. Since I learned how to knit socks 17 years ago, I’ve made upwards of 400 pairs, most of which were gifted to family and friends. Don’t believe me? Why am I obsessed with sock knitting? They’re portable, fun, and versatile with so many different ways to make them.
